Los Aposentos, Canoa
Ecuador
Seitentitel
Our neighborhood, known as "Los Aposentos," is a unique blend of locals and foreigners who have come together to form a community dedicated to preserving this beautiful piece of land.
Getting around
Our location offers convenient access to the beach, which is just a 5-minute walk away. By continuing along the beach, you can reach Canoa within 20 minutes. Walking along the beach during low tide is particularly comfortable.
Additionally, within a 5-minute walk, you can explore the nearby caves. Please note that the caves are only accessible during low tide, and it is even better to visit them during low tide in spring tide for an optimal experience.

Getting there
From the main road towards Jama, you turn left onto a small path and then have to cross a river, which is very shallow from May onwards. The paths are passable with any car during the summer, but they are very uneven.
In winter, the paths can be partially muddy if there has been heavy rain. The house is located on a hill and offers a free covered parking space.
The road to the house is not paved, but it generally shouldn't be a problem for any type of car. From May to December is the dry season, with little rainfall and the roads are easily drivable. Even during the rainy season, the roads are still passable as it is usually very sunny, and the roads quickly dry up and become drivable again. To access our property, you have to cross a river, which is possible at almost any time with any type of car. 1-2 times a year during the rainy season, the river may become impassable for a few hours. However, this rarely happens between the months of January and April, and it usually becomes passable again after a few hours.
In such cases, we will closely coordinate with our guests, and if a guest is unable to arrive, we would naturally refund the money.
